Yvonne Bueno, OTR/L, MPH, DrPH
Yvonne recently received a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) from the College of Public Health, in Maternal and Child Health, with a Health Psychology minor. She obtained her Master of Public Health at the U of A in 2014. Her interests include improving health equity for vulnerable populations, especially women and children. She obtained her BS in Occupational Therapy from the University of Southern California in 1997, and has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist for 20 years.
In the PRO lab, Yvonne assisted with conducting a qualitative pre-intervention needs assessment with our community partner, to identify barriers to cancer care and care coordination for underserved patient populations. She also served as our lab manager and the liaison to the national program office. Yvonne enjoys playing soccer, and traveling to connect with friends and family.
