Megan is a Clinical Research Coordinator working with Dr. Heidi Hamann and Dr. John Ruiz on the Families And Lung Cancer Outcomes Network (FALCON) Study and other projects related to health psychology and cancer. She graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Middle Eastern and North African Studies and a Master of Public Health degree, both from the University of Arizona. During her undergraduate and graduate studies she worked in various student support roles at UArizona, particularly academic support for students with learning and attention challenges. She then shifted into health and healthcare-related research roles, joining the Department of Psychology with the FALCON Study in 2021. Outside of her UArizona role, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, reading voraciously, crafting, and rescuing plants from IKEA for her garden.
