Karen Rico, MD

Karen spent two years working on evaluating the patient navigation program and the biases of medical students towards Hispanic cancer patients. In May 2020, she received a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson. Karen is currently an internal medicine resident at the University of Washington. As a Hispanic physician, she is devoted to a career focused on improving health disparities in underserved cancer patients through her practice and research.
